My name is Meghann Talbot and I am a professional harpist and music teacher based in the Chicago area. Although most of my performances take place in the Chicago suburbs I am wiling to travel to Wisconsin and Indiana. I can help to provide your special event with beautiful harp music that will make your day more memorable and unique.
Biography
Raised in Freeport, Illinois my unique music experience began in the fifth grade with the lever harp. I was very lucky because the Freeport school district offered such a large harp program. When I entered junior high school I switched to the pedal harp and continued to play lever and pedal harp throughout my high school career. I attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champagne and studied with Alice Spero Keene, Beatriz Martin-Ruiz, and Dr. Ann Yeung. I am a free-lance harpist. I perform at weddings, cocktail parties, holiday parties, and many other special events.
